Description

Over my 20+ years of teaching and learning about money I have come with a key conclusion that money matters, in our personal and business lives.

Love it or hate it or be completely indifferent about it, we all need money in today’s world.

During that time, I’ve also come to the problem with the money and that is that most of us are simply not taught how money works, what money is, or how to use it for our own benefit. It’s simply not something that is taught in most schools, yet it’s something that we all have to work with day in and day out.

In this course, you will learn how to:

  • Keep more of your money
  • Pay yourself first
  • Make the process automatic
  • Have access to your money whenever you want
  • Have money for whatever you want
  • Spend without having to look at budgets
  • Reduce and eliminate financial stress

In my teachings and books, I always talk about the concept that it matters more how much money you keep as oppose to how much money you earn. And how much money you keep is a discipline that can be derived from simple techniques of proper money management.

When we hear or read of what to do with our money, we often come on the budgeting as a solution.

But budgeting didn’t work for me.

What’s worse, in over 20 years of teaching and talking to people about money, I have found out that budgeting doesn’t work for over 90% of the people I interacted with (and I’ve interacted with hundreds of thousands of people thus far).

So, my question was “Why do we teach something that doesn’t work for majority?”

I quickly realized that this question doesn’t matter to find an answer to. Rather, I needed to ask myself a more empowering question, and that was “What is an easier and simpler way I can implement in my life that will help me with my money management that does not require me to use a system that doesn’t work?”

And this is what I came up with.

If I can put money aside for different things in life, in different accounts that gave that money specific purpose to pay for those things, how much better will my life be?

My conclusion was “much better” as I wouldn’t have to stress over how I’m going to pay for it.

But I was lazy and starting to forget to manually put that money into different accounts.

I wanted to have it happen automatically, without my having to consistently think about it.

And I wanted that money to be safe but easily accessible.

Keeping large sums of money on me or in my house didn’t make much sense. While easily accessible, it wasn’t as safe in the case of fire, flood, break in, etc. And keeping it in my house, it wouldn’t be automatic. I would have to physically put it there.

Putting my money in a bank seemed like a much safer option. My money was also easily accessible through debit cards and checks. And with automatic payments and transfers that most banks have these days, this became a no brainer.

Aside from my money being accessible and safe, I had also found banks that had interest bearing checking and savings, so now my money was able to grow as well. Not by much, but it beat nothing.

I implemented the system that I created for myself and overtime my money grew.

The interesting piece that happened simultaneously with my money growing was that my financial stress was melting away. I was able for the first time in years to sleep soundly at night, not worry about money or how I was going to pay for things and I didn’t have to consistently look at my budget to see whether I can afford something.

For the first time in my life, I stopped paying everyone else first, hoping something would be left over for me, because it never was. Now, I was paying myself first and whatever was left over, I could spend however I wanted. I had found my path to freedom.

Today, I am proud to say that I keep around 70% of my income and my money grows effortlessly.
